3 reasons for success in 2011
Today, in the province of Santa Cruz, returned to work in schools after a well deserved holiday. The Conservatory of Rio Gallegos takes work activity as well as colleagues and students.
This year 2011 is to be successful at work and it looked three reasons that make music education (especially teachers) are worthwhile.
1 - Focus on the needs of students
In general, students in the faculty of the Conservatory of Music where I work and are serving as teachers (due to lack of graduates in the area) and that is why fundamental believe capitalize on the experience that they have to promote it more and more. It is common for students in my classes say "that's what I do in my music class" or "oops I'm doing anything, now I see another way to address the issue "... These reflections and lessons are so profound that every year I see students grow and take over many tools for their daily work.
2 - Work collaboratively with them
thing I learned in recent years is that it is the collaborative work with the students the key to success in teaching situations. Many times students fail to understand or because of their own school biography. Furthermore, it is a more difficult but more successful down the road. I leave this link to explore more in this thought: http://www.xarxatic.com/renunciando-a-la-ensenanza/
3 - Find the quality This last reason seems the most important because if we professors bet to finding quality resources, quality literature, school quality, quality activities, quality questions and attitudes quality in our school music teachers achieve better, no? (It impacted the school biographies!)
Do you agree with these reasons? Can we reach the end of 2011 to successfully form the best music teachers in the country? What do you think?
